Kalua Holiday Apartments are located on the Maroochydore beachfront.
By car from Brisbane the simplest way to get here is via the Bruce Highway, following the signs for the Sunshine Coast to the Sunshine motorway, and then taking the Maroochydore exit. This will take approximately 1hr 20mins.
If you don’t feel like driving, or don’t plan on taking your car, airport transfers from Brisbane and Sunshine Coast Airports are available with Con-X-ion every hour. This service is a relatively cheap option, and saves you the hassle of driving from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast.
Public Transport is also available from Central Station in Brisbane, and involves taking a train on the Nambour Line to Landsborough Station, and catching 2 connecting buses, the first of which departs to the Sunshine Plaza and the second of which is route 600, which will drop you close to Kalua Apartments. This is very inexpensive in comparison to airport transfers, but is probably not recommended if this is your first visit to the Sunshine Coast, and South East Queensland, and you are inexperienced with the public transport system.
